Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Visvash (operated by [Company name, registration no.], [address], Sri Lanka) runs an online marketplace where people and businesses in Sri Lanka list items and services, chat, and agree on deals. Visvash is not a party to any sale between users.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or use Visvash with a parent's or guardian's permission.
• Give accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
• One person may not run several accounts to get around limits or bans.

3. Listing rules

• Only list items you own or are allowed to sell, at a real price, in the right category, with your own photos.
• Do not list anything on our Prohibited Items list or anything illegal in Sri Lanka.
• Do not post the same item many times, misleading titles, or contact details inside photos to avoid our rules.

4. Dealing with other users

• Deals are between the buyer and the seller. Check items before paying, meet in safe public places, and never send money in advance to someone you don't know.
• Be respectful in chat. Harassment, threats, hate speech and spam are not allowed.

5. Paid features

• Boosts (Bump, Top ad, Urgent) and shop plans are paid through PayHere in Sri Lankan rupees. Prices are shown before you pay.
• Paid features start as soon as payment is confirmed. Because they are used immediately, they are not refundable, except where Sri Lankan consumer law requires it or a technical fault on our side stopped you using them.
• If we remove a listing for breaking these rules, boosts on it are not refunded.

6. Moderation

• We may review, hide or remove any listing or message, and suspend or ban accounts, that break these terms or put users at risk. Listings reported by several people may be hidden automatically until reviewed.
• We may share information with Sri Lanka Police or other authorities when the law requires it or to prevent fraud.

7. Liability

• Visvash is provided as is. We do not check every listing and do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items, or that a deal will go through.
• As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from dealings between users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act or other Sri Lankan law.

8. Changes and law

• We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version. Continuing to use Visvash means you accept the update.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have jurisdiction.
